When human come together, conflict is inevitable. We argue with our spouses, disagree with our friends, and sometimes even quarrel with strangers at a football game. Since conflict is impossible to completely avoid, the important question is how can we handle or manage it in productive ways? What is critical for resolving conflict is developing an understanding of, and a trust in, shared goals. This requires openness, discipline, and creativity. Showing respect for other people and not blaming them enables people to work for mutual benefit. Building such skills and mindset requires training. This highly interactive one day workshop will give participants these skills and many more, equipping students to successfully manage workplace conflict.

As a certified learning and development professional with over a decade of experience, Liam is a trainer with a proven track record of designing and delivering training programs that are highly engaging and extremely realevant for today’s workforce. Based in the fast paced multi-cultural city of Shanghai his training and consulting is always practical and culturally aware. Working in China since 2006 he has consistently conducted leadership and communication related workshops to groups ranging in size from 1 to 100 helping hundreds of business leaders know what it takes to lead their teams and companies to a successful future. He has been a regularly featured facilitator at the American Chamber of Commerce member training events in Shanghai and SuZhou and has recently been involved in several projects with the goal of defining a new generation of cross culturally competent leaders.
